Best Places to See Stars in the Toronto GTA

Ambitious enough to pursue the great Aurora Borealis or just a little bit of a romantic? This light pollution map shows the ratio of artificial light to natural light.  Head to the green for a full night sky or yellow for a decent stargazing sky. If you prefer a little reality mixed with adventure with your romance, try camping at Algonquin Park and pretend you’re sleeping in a blanket of stars. Just look up. Lake Simcoe is another wonderful option. A recent Solar Tsunami had people waking up at 3:00 a.m. in the morning to witness a swoosh of pastel awesomeness.
