It sounds funny if you think that a car could be faster than a eurofighter jet but at least you wouldn’t be too far off. In the first 400 meters, Mikael Schumacher with a Ferrari formula 1 was leading the race running at the speed of 190mph but when the 40000 pounds of thrust decided to take action, the Jet finished the race only 2 tenths quicker than the Ferrari which took 13.2 secs to cover the distance of 900 meters. The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport will appear for the first time in public in California at the Pebble Beach Concours weekend in mid-August. The Super Sport version is the fastest production car in the world, with an average top speed of 431 kilometres per hour (268 mph).
The moment I saw the Bugatti Veyron 16.4, I gave up my Vespa dreams. I’m reformed and will never stray again. How can you not love this car?
1. Bugatti Veyron 16.4
2. Pagani Zonda F
When I first heard the words “Pagani Zonda F” I thought it was a hybrid Panda/Zebra/Honda or someone swearing at me. Now I see that’s not exactly the case. It’s actually a mid-engined sports car designed by Pagani Automobili S.p.A. in Italy. A company founded by Horacio Pagani in 1992. The extras make it look like James Bond gave Inspector Gadget a makeover. There is a lot more smoldering underneath the cool exterior here.
3. Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SuperVeloce
Yahoo Autos has no User Reviews for this machine. Who owns this car? If it’s you, please step up and tell us mere mortals how it handles because the majority of us will not get close to this one. The MSRP on this one is $445,400.00 US. Did I read that right?
4. 2010 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano
At this point, price no longer matters. The MSRP is not listed on the Yahoo Autos page – and really, if you have to ask…
Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2009, Ferrari introduced a new track focused handling package for this particular car. The Handling Grand Turismo Evoluzione (HGTE) is a new upgrade that will help add some zoom to the 599. It nears the end of it’s product cycle soon.
5. 2009 Rolls Royce 200 EX Concept
I will admit this one scares me a little. It’s ominous and forbidding. Not everyone can fit behind this wheel in ego or demeanor. It reminds me of the world’s deadly mobsters – Anthony Mirra or Albert Anastasia, better known as “Lord High Executioner”. Don’t mess with this car.
